Asian Fairyland Channel - Copycat Forum

Today, I had a guest drop by my blog and posted a link to their site... Supposedly a 'new' Asian entertainment site... So I was thinking okay cool, let's check it out...

To my horror... it looks AWFULLY familiar.
Well let's see... this is my forum's header:

And this is the 'new' Asian forum header, well the skin is no doubt the same as AR's, but of course the banner is of lesser quality:

As I scrolled down the page, more things look familiar:

And then, I was choked, even the Root Admin title -> CHIEF ADMIN is ripped!
I of course, wasn't happy with that, because I know I thought of the title MYSELF... took about maybe an hour to come up with it, it was of course inspired by the Chieftain Tauren title in Warcraft, so yeah, I thought of Chief Admin, and I wanted this title coz it's original.. and guess what, it's not original anymore, thanks to this copycat forum.

And what's new?...

Correction, what else is 'old'?
OMG, check out their intro!!! Their Chief Admin probably is literally challenged, can't even come up with their own introduction, has to copy from AR word for word!

Here's the intro yours truly wrote for AR, note the date it was posted as proof that THEY copied from US:

And this is their pathetic intro:
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

So, what's my conclusion of this forum?

No originality, pathetic and cheap!
What, they can't even come up with a decent name that is unique, their initials resemble that of Asian Fanatics, which has been around way longer than them.

So, to Asian Copyland Channel - PLEASE COME UP WITH YOUR OWN STUFF.
Do NOT rip from others so shamelessly, word for word!

And yes, this is a flame post... because I really don't appreciate anyone copying off me ALMOST EVERYTHING that I have spent time and effort to come up with. If they indeed have some dignity left, they would consider revamping their stuff, and come up with their own ORIGINAL stuff.

The only consolation I get is probably the fact that my stuff must be THAT good, that someone has copied them so fast!

BOO to Asian Fairyland Channel aka Asian COPYLAND Channel.

/end rant.

Aaron Kwok stars as Tam, a rumpled, nearsighted detective in Thailand who's not as much seedy as he is simply sloppy. Tam could have been a cop, but his poor vision has relegated him to a private dick that follows adulterers and other assorted minor rule-breakers. His new case, however, is a doozy. Freaked-out acquaintance Lung (Shing Fui-On) shows up and is willing to pay whatever price Tam requires for him to find a woman named Sum. Lung maintains that Sum is trying to kill him, and provides a single photo for him to begin his investigation. Tam happily takes the case, and begins to investigate, leading to a deepening mystery that only gets murkier as he progresses. First of all, nobody has seemingly seen Sum in days, and each new lead Tam follows usually uncovers a dead body or possible mortal danger. The discoveries are related in the usual Pang bombastic fashion, meaning loud drum beats, sometimes surprising shock cuts, and twitchy camera movements meant to amp up the suspense.

Date Ideas

How to ignite the passion in your romance? How to keep the flames of passion burning? Is your romance dull and lacklustre? Then you need to read on and find out some great dating tips on what to do when you are together with your significant other!

Dating Ideas and Tips

Tip 1:
Ask him what his favorite sports team is and then surprise him with tickets. It would also help if you do a little research on the team and impress him with your knowledge!

Tip 2:
Be waiting for him when he gets home from work, candles lit, soft music playing, and his favorite meal fresh out of the oven. After dinner take him out for a walk under the stars, maybe go to a small cafe for after dinner coffee, someplace quiet, and relaxed.

Tip 3:
Sneak into his/her home and place little notes in places you know your partner will find them. It lets them know your thinking of them, and I promise you will be rewarded upon your next meeting. If you can't get into his/her house, sneak a note into his pocket or her handbag.

Tip 4:
Plan a scavenger hunt for your beau around your town. Leave little notes all over town leading him/her to new places. At each place have him/her pick something up for the evening (like food, movies, etc.) Send him/her to your favorite store and let him/her pick out something that HE/SHE likes. If you want to get really creative, make the notes into little rhymes. This idea takes a LOT of planning, but trust me, it's worth the time!

Tip 5:
Picnic! Find a good vantage point for watching the sunset, and set up a picnic, complete with champagne, strawberries, oysters... whatever you want & whatever you know will catch your honey's fancy... scatter rose petals around & light tea candles... and have him/her meet you there at what should be the best point in the sunset.

Tip 6:
Go bowling. Pretend you are the only people there. Dance whenever you get a strike (or even hit a pin). Do 'trick rolls' together. Make up funny names for each other to put on the overhead screen. Kiss each other between every turn. If you want to make this date romantic as well as fun call ahead and reserve a lane. Cover the area with rose petals and have one of the tables set up with a rose and a nice dinner.

Tip 7:
For the Casanova - Girls will fall in love with you all over for this one. Before she gets home, light a bunch of candles all over the house, Have a trail of rose petals going upstairs to the bathroom, there have a bubble bath with music and candles waiting, leave a note saying something sweet, while she's in make rose petals go to the bed, then spread them all over the bed, more candles, and have 12 full roses on the bed. When she comes out to find it all surprise her with a kiss and carry her to the bed.

Tip 8:
Here is an idea that on the onset seems a bit childish, but is very insightful. Obtain a coloring book and put both of your names in it. Supply crayons, colored pencils, markers and water colors for the both of you to color with. Start by coloring one page of the coloring book together. Each person takes turns coloring one part of the picture with whatever coloring impliment he/she wishes to use and in any fashion they wish to color the part they choose. Then it is the other person's turn. No artistic criticism allowed! Discuss why they chose that color, that implement, etc. When the coloring of that picture is finished, try to associate that picture to your relationship (from the colors, the implements used, the style and the overall appearance). Then do the same thing another day, only each person colors their own page.

Tip 9:
Take time to think about each other, then sit together and write a letter to each other. Write from the heart, tell them what you appreciate about them and what you really like about them. Once you start writing it will just flow. Then exchange letters and read them together. This will bring you closer together...writing is easier than speaking sometimes.

Tip 10:
Before the date, buy a dozen roses. Attach a note to each rose telling her where to find the next one. The most fun place to do this is the mall. Most couples go to a particular mall, a lot. To find the next rose have her try to remember funny things that happened in those stores. Give each rose to the sales clerk. The last rose should lead her to you, at your favorite mall restaurant, where you will treat her.

More to come later!

Below: The actual computer with fan attached.

Below: Inside of the machine. Most of the space is occupied by the battery.

Below: The machine is designed to be a wireless machine so doesn't even come with an Ethernet port. The only ports it has are headphone, Micro DVI (for projector/monitor output) and a USB 2.0 socket.
One can buy an Ethernet USD adapter for an extra 29 USD.

Title: Lust Caution 色, 戒 [2007]
Warning: For Mature Viewers Only.
(I was gonna put 18+ but I don't think people would listen anyway)

Cast:

Tony Leung Chiu Wai ... Mr. Yee
Tang Wei ... Wang Jiazhi
Wang Lee Hom ... Kuang Yu-Min
Joan Chen ... Mrs. Yee
Chu Chih Ying Chu
Anupam Kher ... Indian Jeweller
Johnson Yuen

Language: Mandarin
Subtitles: English
Quality: DVDRip
Unrated full version

Synopsis:

Shanghai, 1942. The World War II Japanese occupation of this Chinese city continues in force. Mrs. Mak, a woman of sophistication and means, walks into a café, places a call, and then sits and waits. She remembers how her story began several years earlier, in 1938 China. She is not in fact Mrs. Mak, but shy Wong Chia Chi (Tang Wei). With WWII underway, Wong has been left behind by her father, who has escaped to England. As a freshman at university, she meets fellow student Kuang Yu Min (Wang Leehom). Kuang has started a drama society to shore up patriotism. As the theater troupe's new leading lady, Wong realizes that she has found her calling, able to move and inspire audiences -- and Kang. He convenes a core group of students to carry out a radical and ambitious plan to assassinate a top Japanese collaborator, Mr. Yee (Tony Leung). Each student has a part to play; Wong will be Mrs. Mak, who will gain Yee's trust by befriending his wife (Joan Chen) and then draw the man into an affair. Wong transforms herself utterly inside and out, and the scenario proceeds as scripted -- until an unexpected fatal twist spurs her to flee.

Three years later, with no end in sight for the occupation, Wong, having emigrated to Hong Kong, goes through the motions of her existence. Much to her surprise, Kuang re-enters her life. Now part of the organized resistance, he enlists her to again become Mrs. Mak in a revival of the plot to kill Yee, who as head of the collaborationist secret service has become even more a key part of the puppet government. As Wong reprises her earlier role, and is drawn ever closer to her dangerous prey, she finds her very identity being pushed to the limit.

My Review (Warning spoiler):

Well I think this is really just a tragic love story. Tang Wei stars as Wang Jiazhi, initially an innocent and sweet girl in the student body who met with Wang Lee Hom's character, Kuang Yu-Min.

I am not sure why exactly that she agreed to help them, was it her 'crush' or secret love for Yu-Min, or could it be she was really patriotic and wanted to help her country? I think it was a mixture of both, but it was more because of her feelings for Yu-Min that she agreed to be a spy.

What started as a student organization plan became much more than that, when the inexperienced students encountered difficulties and JiaZhi lost contact with Yu-Min and his 'team' for 3 years.

When she met up with Yu-Min again, she ended up agreeing to 'helping' him and his organization again to infiltrate Mr. Yee's residence and gain his trust. Why did she agree? After all, the students had only made use of her and did not think twice about asking her to lose her innocence and virginity just for the role of being Mr. Yee's mistress. They even made a guy have sex with her as training, I felt pity for her.

And when JiaZhi managed to gain Mr. Yee's trust, the head organization wanted to wait to take action, making it seems that they could not care less for her safety. As Jia Zhi was not trained as a spy, she was living under immense pressure and strained. Her body was used over and over again, she was tortured, and yet she never voiced her unhappiness. She never owed the organization anything, and yet she helped them without complaint.

I do find it sad that how JiaZhi started out as an innocent and naive girl, but was manipulated and had chosen to sacrifice her life in the end to escape from the organization... I don't think she actually loves Mr. Yee, but IMO, it was more of her final retaliation against the organization when she realized that she was nothing more than just a pawn. This was evident from day 1, when the head of the organization handed her a suicide pill just in case she was caught. It could also be because Mr. Yee actually treated her 'better' than anyone else. We could see how touched she was when she realized Mr. Yee plans to buy her a beautiful invaluable ring.

I don't know why, I really detest Kuang Yu-Min for being such a coward and did not stand up for the woman whom loved him and willingly helped him through all this.

It's a little boring if you don't appreciate artsy films, but I think most of you will be interested in the graphic bed scenes eh?

I don't sympathize with Jia Zhi, but I do feel good for her and proud of her, when she decided to turn her back on the organization! Sweet revenge, with a heavy price to pay.

Setting Up part 4

If you are generally observant, you would have noticed that I have installed the new expandable posts summaries. The purpose of this is so the frontpage of my blog will not be crammed and readers don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom.

With this trick, you can choose to display an arbitrary amount of text from the beginning of each post, as a teaser for the whole thing. Then users who want to read the rest of the post can click a link to see the full text. This is handy if you have lots of long articles all on one page. Note that you'll need to have post pages enabled in order to make this feature work.

If you want to find out how I did it...

How can I create expandable post summaries?

With this trick, you can choose to display an arbitrary amount of text from the beginning of each post, as a teaser for the whole thing. Then users who want to read the rest of the post can click a link to see the full text. This is handy if you have lots of long articles all on one page. Note that you'll need to have post pages enabled in order to make this feature work.

There are three ingredients that go into this feature: conditional CSS, a "read more" link for each post, and a modification for the posts that use this feature. So let's go through it step by step.

Conditional CSS

We're going to use conditional tags to change how posts display on different pages. Add the following code to your style sheet, depending on what kind of template you have:

(for classic templates)

<MainOrArchivePage>
span.fullpost {display:none;}
</MainOrArchivePage>

<ItemPage>
span.fullpost {display:inline;}
</ItemPage>

(for layouts)

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
span.fullpost {display:inline;}

<b:else/>
span.fullpost {display:none;}
</b:if>

Your style sheet is usually near the top of your template, between the <style> and </style> tags. If you have your style sheet in a separate file, you'll still need to add these lines in your template, so the conditional tags will work. Just make sure you add in the <style> tags around them.

What we did here was to define a class called "fullpost" that will appear only on post pages (permalinks). Part of each post will use this class, as we'll see later.

"Read More" Links

Add the following code to your template, somewhere after the <$BlogItemBody$> or <data:post.body/> tag:

(for classic templates)

<MainOrArchivePage><br />
<a href="<$BlogItemPermalinkURL$>">Read more!</a>

</MainOrArchivePage>

(for layouts)

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "item"'><br />
<a expr:href='data:post.url'>Read more!</a>
</b:if>

This link will only appear on the main page and archive pages, and it will redirect your reader to the post page containing the full text of your post. You can replace the "Read more!" text with whatever you like, of course.

Post Modifications

The final piece that we need is a little bit of code in your actual post. Each post that you want to use this feature on will need this code:

<span class="fullpost"></span>

This part can actually go in the post template, if you don't want to have to type it for each post. You'll enter the summary text outside the span tags and the remainder inside, like so:

Here is the beginning of my post. <span class="fullpost">And here is the rest of it.</span>

Now, when a reader visits your blog, this post will appear like this:

Here is the beginning of my post.
Read more!
When they click the link, they'll go to the post page where they'll see the whole thing:
Here is the beginning of my post. And here is the rest of it.

Dating Tips

Have you ever been asked on a date, or asked for a date, then find your date making all sort of excuses to end the date asap? Or find yourself reaching the answering machine every time you try to call for a second date? Do you wonder what went wrong?

Well of course, Ms. Devious is here to help you with all the Datings Dos and Dont's. It's not by any means, dating rules of course, but it helps if you could keep in mind at least some of them when you are out on a date. Most are just drawn from common sense and basic etiquette, but some are from personal experience.

Here's the Dos:

1. Do try to look your best and be punctual on dates. Never let your date wait around for you. And don't appear too eager either. If you are a guy, don't show up at your date's door 1 hour earlier, it would freak her out. And if you are a girl, don't let your guy wait around for you more than 10 minutes! Of course if the inevitable happens, be frank about it and tell your date.

If there's a bad traffic and you are stuck, tell her the truth. Don't keep saying "I am on my way" and 1 hour later, you are still not there. That certainly won't give your date a good impression of you.

2. Do have fun when dating. Be spontaneous and always have a sense of humor, it won't kill you to laugh at yourself if you made a mistake.

3. Be attentive. Interact with your date and pay attention when he/she talks to you. Make sure your eyes don't wander off somewhere, it's just plain rude when you are both having a conversation, and you are busy ogling at another hottie. If your date keeps looking at his/her watch, it might be a cue to end the date early, so be considerate about it.

4. Do flatter and compliment your date on the way they look and the things they wear. People tend to go to a lot of effort on a date (hopefully) so being told that you are looking good is a nice thing to hear.

5. Be interested and interesting. Interested in your date's conversation, opinions, thoughts, and also give your own interesting feedback.

6. Do go with the flow. If you feel like the date is not going anywhere, then try to end it early in a nice way. If you feel like going for a walk, suggest it to your date. If you are hungry, ask your date if he/she wants something to eat.

7. Do date the type of people you like and are attracted to, whatever your friends may say. Approval by your peers doesn't prove a thing. Likewise, if you don't like the guy/girl at all, then don't agree to a date.

8. Do come up with a plan and a back-up plan. Girls do not fancy guys who have no idea what and where they are going, so be creative and come up with a 'proposal'. Girls, be sure to have a back-up plan in case your date doesn't have one. Suggestions are always good.

9. Dating is a creative diversion, it requires concentration and energy so when you are dating keep some plans in the forefront of your mind and allow dating to take you to places you always wanted to visit within your own city.

10. Do make dating happen for yourself. People will not come and ring your bell from nowhere. Dating requires positive action so go out there and meet people, as many people as you can. Practice your chat and flirting on shop workers, bar attendants, anywhere and everywhere. Being nice to people is very sexy and great fun.

11. If you are a guy, always offer to pay for the first few dates, or at least the first date. It's just a chivalrous act and your date would likely not be impressed by a man who wants to split the bills on a first date.

12. If you are a girl, offer to pay for the tidbits if he's buying the movie tickets; don't expect the guy to pay everything. If he declines to accept your payment, then it's fine. Don't start to argue on that.

13. If you are sending her (or him) home, please give him/her a call if he/she had to take a long walk from the car to the residence to ensure he/she returns safely.

14. If you enjoyed the date, try sending a sms thanking your date and telling him/her how much you have enjoyed the night.

Dating Don'ts

1. Never call someone more than once a day unless they reply. Desperation and instability are huge turn offs. Try not to cancel a date last minute unless you really can't make it. And be honest about it, because your 'potential' date would not likely to accept a second date from you or ask you for a second date unless you can come up with a good reason.

2. Do not keep worrying about what you are going to say. Sometimes silence is OK. It's a little awkward, but if you relax, sooner or later the ice will be broken. Don't force yourself to talk if you really can't think of anything to say.

3. Don't mumble when speaking, speak up and look at your date and try to maintain eye contact even if your heart is beating twice as fast and you are blushing all over.

4. Do not brag about yourself and keep talking about yourself the whole night. Like I said, flatter your date, but not flatter yourself. It would make you look obnoxious and arrogant. If your date asks you how your work and life is, be careful not to go overboard or it will come across as boasting if you keep on and on about how wonderful your life/work is and how much money you are making.

5. This relates to #4. Don't be too eager and give away too much about yourself at the start. People love enigma and mystery. Revealing to your new date your inner most secrets on date number two will quickly ruin everything. A small bit at a time people.

6. Do not go overboard with compliments. Telling your date that he/she looks good once or twice is fine, don't keep telling him/her that he/she is gorgeous the whole time, else your date would think you are a freak. Do not exaggerate the compliments either. For example, if you think he/she is wearing a nice dress, say so... and stop there. Don't continue on and on or your compliments would appear fake and insincere.

7. Never be too available. Being available every night of the week and at the end of every whimsical phone call or possible rendezvous means you are making yourself uninteresting and a possible doormat. Be busy, be unavailable generally and be interesting.

8. Never check other people out when you are with your date. You may think you are subtle , your date will be heading for the door. Have the courtesy of concentrating solely on your date when you are with them. That includes keeping your phone to vibrate/silent mode or switching it off completely. It wouldn't look good if you keep sms-ing on your date. If you really can't stay away from the phone because of work, then make it short.

9. Don't be rude or get drunk on a date. Courtesy and manners will get you everywhere. Do not try to show your authority by yelling at the waiter or something. This will definitely not impress your date. Always speak in a courteous manner.

10. Don't ignore your personal safety when dating, especially if you are a girl. Have a cellular phone and keep it charged, tell your friends where you are going and be safe. If you are dating for the first few times, it's best to do so in well known public places and never ever be pushed into anything you are not happy with.

11. Don't give out personal information like home phone numbers and addresses on a first date. Keep them until you are sure of your date and the future possibilities.

12. Don't go on a date with a mental checklist in mind, and consciously checking to see if your date meets your 'ideal requirements' during the date. Your date would definitely sense that he/she is being put on a 'preview', interview or something like that, and would not like it. If you want to evaluate your date, do it after the date ended.

13. Don't ask questions that are too intimate. Respect your date's privacy. Don't be too idle either. Try to ask some questions to show that you are interested.

14. Don't stare at your date, it would make him/her uneasy. Keeping eye contact doesn't mean you have to keep your eyes glued on the person the whole time. Always ensure your eyes meet his/hers and not elsewhere on his/her body parts.

15. Don't have sex on your first date...

Subtitles Tutorial

Now, I should probably make a tutorial on this since some people do not know what to do with the subtitles they have downloaded.

There are two types of subtitles, if it's hard-subbed, then you won't have any problem, because the subtitles are already embedded into the movie itself. If it's soft-subs, then it is usually in .srt format or .idx and .sub format.

Soft subs are basically subtitles applied at playback time from a subtitle datafile, either mixed directly into the video file, or in a separate file. With the correct media player or an auxiliary program softsubs are superimposed on the footage and appear indistinguishable from hardsubs.

Here's what to do when you have downloaded a .srt or .idx and .sub format subtitles.

If the subtitles is a SRT file, there are 2 ways:

- 1st option you may try the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, it contains everything you need like vobsub which displays the subs in Windows Media Player plus all available audio and video codecs.

Note: for srt files to be display please ensure the name of the srt file is the same as the name of the video file but with added .srt, for example:

video file name: The Grudge.avi
srt file name: The Grudge.srt

- 2nd option is to play it with VLC Media Player, you don't need codecs with this player and this program plays every extension type except RMVB files. Turn on the subs video category (it the category with options such as video track, full screen, zoom, deinterlace, etc) on the main menu, if none are there, the subs were not auto detected so you need to click on preferences and browse for the subs yourself, see the screenshot below:

then go to the video category on the main menu and turn the subs on.

Note: Remember to return to Preferences and remove the .srt file later otherwise, the same subtitles will appear for other movies you play.

If the subtitles are a .SUB and .IDX files,

You may follow the 1st option and get the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, which has vobsub and then you can play it with Windows Media Player (vobsub appears as a green icon in the task bar), the same applies to Media Player Classic (also known as Real Alternative, which comes with the K-Lite codec pack.

VLC Media Player can also auto-detect the files. Please ensure they are saved in the same folder as your movie file, and also named accordingly.

Example:
Lust Caution.avi
Lust Caution.idx
Lust Caution.sub

and save all these 3 files into the SAME folder.

If the subtitles have the option of different language, for example English/Chinese subtitles, then just right click on the screen when you are watching the movie with VLC Media Player, select the option Subtitles Track -> and choose your language.

Title: Bullet & Brain
Starring: Anthony Wong , Francis Ng , Eric Tsang , Alex Fong Lik Sun
Director: Keung Kwok Man
Production: 2007
Language: Cantonese
Quality: DVDRip
Subtitles: English/Chinese

Written and produced by Wong Jing, breezy gangster actioner Bullet & Brain is the kind of entertaining genre hodgepodge that only Hong Kong can do so well. At times serious, at times silly, this fast-paced film is anchored with charismatic performances from Best Actor trio Eric Tsang, Anthony Wong, and Francis Ng. Wong and Ng, in particular, get to strut their stuff as the opaquely cool titular outlaws, Bullet and Brain. The veterans lead the way for their younger co-stars - Alex Fong (Love is Not All Around) and newcomer actresses Tiffany Tang, Liu Yang, and Liu Yuan Yuan - who help bring some youthful energy to the proceedings. Helmed by cinematographer-turned-director Keung Kwok Man, Bullet & Brain rolls action, drama, comedy, and romance together into a tight, unpredictable, and enjoyable roller coaster of a movie.

Triad boss Principal meets an untimely demise when his protege Winston (Andrew Wu) betrays him. Before his death, he left his Swiss bank account password to his granddaughter Rain (Tiffany Tang), who now becomes Winston's next target. Winston needs the money to cut a deal with another mob boss (Eric Tsang), and he's willing to use any means to get it. Rookie cop Fei (Alex Fong) is assigned to protect Rain, but he's more bumbling than brave and both are soon in deep waters with Winston's gang on the hunt. Luckily, the Principal also left Rain a torn bill that if sent out would bring the aid of his old friends, legendary criminals Bullet (Francis Ng) and Brain (Anthony Wong). The sharp-minded, sharp-shooting duo haven't been seen in years, but they're back with guns a-blazing to save Rain. The only problem: they vowed years ago to never kill or lie again.

How To Bypass Megaupload Download Limit Slots

I am sure some of you feel pretty frustrated whenever you try to download from Megaupload and get this message

"All download slots assigned to your country are currently in use. Please try again in a few hours or install the Megaupload Toolbar for immediate access - with the toolbar installed, there are no more slot limitations for you!"

One option is to download and install the Toolbar OR the Megaupload Manager and then it will integrate itself to your browser(s) when you install. I have it installed actually and don't find any problems with it.

Other methods to bypass the download limit after you have installed the toolbar or Manager includes:

Method 1:

If you have a dynamic IP, it's simple. Just restart your modem and you will be able to download again!

Method 2:

Go to sites that offer to generate MU Premium links.
(Note: Some of the sites are no longer working).

Megatoad

Megafast

Freemu

Leechz.com

Then input the ref ID

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=(REF ID here)
Copy and paste the Ref ID, then click on "Generate Premium Link"

And click on "Download Now"

FOR EXAMPLE

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=F0UCTOK8
Your Ref ID would be F0UCTOK8

For those of you unfamiliar with this software, you should really learn about it, as it is a pretty popular and common software used to split and join files, it is very convenient as well since you don't need to install anything, and the program is small. (only about 306kb).

Freeware file splitting program HJSplit lets you split any type of file of any size into smaller chunks. Then you can use HJSplit to merge the split files back into the original.

Click HERE to download.

1. To watch the split files you have downloaded, you first need to join them.

2. Open the program and click on "JOIN"

3. Once you have clicked "JOIN" a window will pop up and click on "INPUT FILE"

4. Once you have that opened too, just look for the location you downloaded the episode in and select "filename.001"
**NOTE: You will only see "filename.001", that is normal. The other parts will join automatically**

and then click on "OPEN",then click on "START" and you will be able to watch it. The joined file is saved in the same folder as the place where you save your downloads.

Although this is obvious, some people still ask questions, so... You must download ALL the parts first before you join the split files together.

The joining process is fast and simple.

HJSplit is useful to split the files up when you want to upload your files to share on the free host sites.

Some sites allow you to upload up to 300MB, and sometimes a movie is 700MB.

2. Under Split File Size - Choose the size you wish to split into.

Title: The Warlords
Released: 13 December 2007
Genre: Action/Drama
Director: Peter Chan

Cast:
Andy Lau
Jet Li
Takeshi Kaneshiro
Jinglei Xu

Synopsis:
The nineteenth century was an era of conflict: the Franco-Prussian War and the establishment of the German Empire in Europe; the Civil War in America; the Meiji Restoration in Japan; the Opium War in China followed by the Taiping Rebellion in Nanjing… all critical events that shaped the world today. At times of chaos, heroes are born yet innocence is forever lost…

It’s the mid-19th century, one of the darkest periods of Chinese history. The country is suffering under the rule of the corrupt Manchus who invaded China from the North and established the country’s last imperial dynasty, the Qing. Natural disasters are wreaking havoc in the countryside, and in the midst of this chaos, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, one of the strongest rebel groups ever to rise up in China, is overrunning the country and staging battles with the Qing army threatening the Dragon throne.

When Ma first met the rough-and-ready bandit, Cao Erhu (starring Andy Lau) and his trusted Lieutenant Zhang Wenxiang (starring Takeshi Kaneshiro), he had not an inkling that they will forever change his life. Cao, the dark and charismatic leader of a band of bandits, bonded with the dark Ma when this stranger saved his life. At Zhang’s urging, the three swear blood brotherhood. Ma had a dream – he wants to rid China of both the rebels and the corrupt Qing officials. Ma convinces Cao and Zhang on this noble quest and the trio soon engages in many dangerous battles and win. With the help of Cao and his men, Ma manages to squelch the rebels and rises through the ranks. Success has the power to corrupt – Ma soon became obsessed with power.

Cao and Zhang return to their native village, and Cao reunites for an evening with his beautiful wife, Lian (starring Xu Jinglei). But when she and Ma look at each other for the first time, the chemistry is overwhelming; and the seed of betrayal is sown. Ma must remove the one obstacle standing between him and the loyalty of the bandit-soldiers and the beautiful Lian.

Review (Warning Spoiler):

When I first saw this movie, I was like, "Are you kidding me?!" According to the synopsis, both Andy Lau and Jet Li were mad about this 'beautiful' woman that caused them disharmony and Jet Li's character to contemplate killing Andy's character. She wasn't even attractive, let alone beautiful... I wonder why the director cast her as the main actress? It's not like her acting skills are anything to brag about.

Well, apart from that, the movie itself made it to the 'okay' mark for me. I expected this movie to be great, considering the male cast in this, but to my disappointment, the battle scenes were not that impressive.

Even then, I think the male cast is reason enough for you to catch this movie. Takeshi gave a good performance here, I absolutely adore his character, especially when he took the initiave to kill off that cheating conniving wife of Andy's character!

Monetize Your Blog!

That was the question I asked myself when I am thinking of what to write here.

First of all, what's the purpose of your blog? Initially, I thought blog is equivalent to an online diary, where you post all your thoughts for *gasp* millions of strangers all over the world to see. The idea of letting my most private thoughts be heard was not so attractive, more so when I heard about the case that someone was actually fired from her workplace due to her blog content...

Then I realize that nowadays, blogging can be about anything. Some people even use it as a tool to making money, as I browsed through some sites, I heard of successful money-making through blogs, and I, of course, began to daydream myself.

Now how to make money through blogging? I surfed through a few sites, and decided to make a successful money-making blog... and be featured in the next Internet Millionaire news (yeah right).

First, I scouted through sites with names like "Blogging for Dummies", "Money-making blogs" etc

Then I realize these people are actually putting a lot of effort to make money through blogs, and not as easy as it seems.

Well first, you've got to be at least well-versed with HTML codes to insert all those ads into your site. Secondly, you've to have the patience to scour through the Pay-to-Click programs to identify which are scams and which ones are valid money-making tools.

Pros and cons of these Pay-Per-Click programs:

Pros:

* You earn money
* You earn money whilst sleeping

Cons:

* Minimal earning (unless you join up multiple sites or you have tons of referrals).
* Heartaches and headaches when you've signed up for scam programs

Well which ones are valid?

Here's where I had to do a research, and came up with these legit
money-making tools:

One of the most trusted pay per click site is www.neobux.com.

NeoBux shines because it has been around since 2008 and paid more than $40 million to its users. The minimum payout is $2.00 and their payout system is simple and fuss-free. All you need is a PayPal or Alertpay account.

So don't wait, register today at
NEOBUX!

Now for a list of other TOP, PROVEN, BEST Pay Per Click Sites that you MUST join if you haven't done so:

Incentria

Clicksia

AyuWage Services - Get Paid to Visits Sites and Complete Surveys
DonkeyMails.com: No Minimum Payout

And then there are many newly emerged sites that offer great rates and promotions. Problem is, these sites usually don't last long and often turn out to be scam sites. Below is a list of sites that you can try out, but proceed with caution.

Sites With Potential Earnings *May Need To Invest To Cash Out*:
